Summary
This program presents a portion of coverage of the 1984 Summer Games of the XXIII Olympiad from Los Angeles. Highlights of this portion include coverage of the following events and topics: Sports commentators Jack Whitaker, Kurt Thomas, and Gordon Maddux cover the men’s gymnastics team finals, featuring Tim Daggett (USA), Bart Conner (USA), and Mitch Gaylord (USA) on the parallel bars, Xu Zhiqiang (China) and Li Ning (China), on the men's high bar, and Koji Gushiken (Japan) and Kyoji Yamawaki (Japan) on the floor exercise.
