DONNA REED SHOW, THE: THE IDEAL WIFE (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series about the wholesome Stone family of Hilldale: pediatrician Alex, homemaker Donna, and their teen-aged children, Mary and Jeff. In this episode, Donna becomes distraught when she realizes that people are taking advantage of her good nature. When the dry cleaner deliveryman forgets to deliver the dress that Donna had planned to wear that evening, and then prematurely thanks her for not requesting him to make a return trip, she puts her foot down and demands that he do so. Donna also snaps at Mary and Jeff, insisting that they do their chores. She tells her husband, Alex, that they must back out of seeing an associate's film of a gall bladder operation, since she has already made plans for them to see "Death of a Salesman." In the end, Donna returns to her former sweet self, but Alex thoughtfully insists that they still attend the play. Commercials deleted.
