DEADBEAT: CALAMITYVILLE HORROR (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series about the supernatural adventures of a clairvoyant slacker. In this episode, Kevin's repeated attempts to leave a casual voicemail for Camomile go unpleasantly awry. Later, he meets up with Roofie to help "spruce up" a rundown home that Roofie has recently purchased at a low price, though the project proves to be more work than expected when it turns out to be haunted. Kevin attempts to help the ghosts, married couple Jack and Julep Donaldson, resolve their "classic unfinished business," alarmed to realize that they murdered one another in a petty squabble. Elsewhere in the house, Roofie has a bizarrely romantic encounter with another ghost, and Jack and Julep reveal that they unintentionally killed their live-in spinster daughter, Brianne, during their fight. Brianne declares that Roofie is now her "boyfriend" and that she must kill him to maintain the relationship, but Kevin hurriedly intervenes and helps all three of the ghosts to resolve their differences and finally "cross over." Roofie, however, decides that the home still has "bad vibes" and abandons it.
