Summary
One in this music and dance program wherein various hosts introduce songs to which fans in the studio dance. The episode opens as several guests greet the audience, and host Andy Gury introduces the Friday Weekend Warmup, and everyone dances to "Turn on the Night" by Lois and Lane, followed by "Only in the Night" by Voice in Fashion. Gury chats with a few regulars, and they dance to a remix of "The Way You Make Me Feel " by Michael Jackson and "Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Astley. Next, during the Hat Trick Dance Special, guests pull names from a hat to select their dance partner, and Susan Richardson from "Eight is Enough" makes a special guest appearance as everyone dances to "Lovey Dovey Feeling" by Tony Terry and "Shake Your Love" by Debbie Gibson. Next is the slow jam "Seasons Change" by Exposé, followed by Billy Idol's cover of "Mony Mony." Host Jimmy Jam offers a review of the new film "The In Crowd" (1988), and the crowd dances to "Some Kind of Lover" by Jody Watley. Next, The Cover Girls take the stage and sing "Because of You," then answering a few questions from fans in the crowd before everyone retakes the dance floor for their song "Show Me." Gury previews upcoming episodes, and the program concludes with "You Dropped a Bomb on Me" by The Gap Band. Commercials deleted.
