Summary

One in this comedy series starring Freeman Gosden and Charles Correll as Amos and Andy, two black friends in Harlem, New York. In this episode, Kingfish's wife, Sapphire, receives a telegram from a girlfriend who lives in California inviting them to stay out on the West Coast for the summer. Kingfish thinks of a way to trick Andy into giving him the raffle ticket so he and Sapphire can use the car to drive to California. Accomplishing his goal, Kingfish gets a phone call from the raffle company explaining about the publicity they plan on doing. Kingfish shows up at the publicity meeting to claim the prize, but it's not what he expected. The Jubilaires perform "California Here I Come." This is the last show of the season. Includes commercials for Rinso and Lifeboy Soap and a promo for the new show, "Call the Police."
