INNER SANCTUM MYSTERIES: DEAD MAN'S DEBT (RADIO)
Summary
One in this series of weekly suspense drama programs. The show begins and ends with the sound of a creaking door, and the host is a macabre character called only Raymond, who introduces the program. In this episode, a thief named Danny is acquitted for murdering jewel thief Carson to get a diamond. However, Danny did kill Carson's accomplice, Stack Allen, and Danny's lawyer wants to see him punished for this murder. The lawyer helps Danny find the diamond, which Stack had hidden. Danny is hit by a train while trying to kill the lawyer. Includes commercials for Lipton tea. (Series title varies; also called "The Inner Sanctum.")
