MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE: ENCORE (TV)
Summary
One in this series of adventure dramas about the exploits of the Impossible Missions Force. In this episode, the members of the IMF attempt to uncover evidence that will prove that gangster Thomas Kroll was responsible for a murder that took place over thirty years earlier. The force decides to trick Kroll into re-enacting his crime by convincing him that it is June 30, 1937, the day the murder took place. They use a studio lot to rebuild the neighborhood where Kroll resided in the 1930s, give Kroll miracle drugs to make him look and feel younger, and disguise themselves to look like people from his past who were involved in the crime. As they are about to put their plan into action, Phelps realizes that Kroll is not carrying his pocket watch, which is an essential part of the history that they are about to recreate. Phelps goes to Kroll's apartment to find the watch and, without realizing it, he is spotted by a young lady staying there. Complications ensue when she informs Kroll's partner of the search and he decides to investigate further. Commercials deleted.
