MOONLIGHTING: SYMPHONY IN KNOCKED FLAT (TV)
Summary
One in this comedic private detective series about David Addison and Maddie Hayes of the Blue Moon Detective Agency. This episode opens with David showing Maddie his idea of a how-to-be-funky video which includes a performance by the Temptations. Then, in an effort to show Maddie a "fine evening," David buys two tickets to the symphony from a scalper. The day after he and Maddie attend the concert, F.B.I. agents arrive at the offices of the Blue Moon Detective Agency and explain that there was a ticket mix-up. An agent was supposed to be sitting in Maddie's seat in order to meet a contact, who was to pass on information pertaining to a possible international crisis. Though Maddie does not recall being slipped any messages, she wants to help the agents, until Miss Dipesto quietly informs her and David that another set of F.B.I. agents have arrived at the agency. Knowing that one of the pairs is lying, and not knowing which one to trust, David and Maddie decide to prevent the international crisis on their own. After gathering clues and following their instincts, David and Maddie find themselves in the Olympic boxing ring attempting to prevent a Russian boxer, who does not seem to understand English, from being assassinated. Commercials deleted.
