Summary
One in this series of dramas about Dr. Richard Kimble, an innocent man convicted of his wife's murder. Unable to prove his innocence, Kimble escapes en route to prison and searches for the one-armed man who he believes to be the murderer. In this episode, a group of children discover the fugitive's true identity and attempt to apprehend him with a mail-order rifle. As the program begins, Kimble, who is working as a bartender, befriends a waitress named Susan Cartwright, who has just received custody of her twelve year-old nephew, Gary. The troubled boy, whose parents died in a car accident, believes he recognizes Kimble from his old neighborhood in Indiana, and he soon recalls the details of the former doctor's celebrated murder case. Gary tells some neighborhood boys his secret and, to win the trust of his peers, he agrees to help them capture Kimble with the rifle that they have purchased through the mail. No commercials.
