Summary

This adaptation of Willa Cather's classic novel set in the great Nebraska Divide tells the story of Alexandra Bergson, a brave Swedish immigrant whose passion for survival and achievement inspires all those around her. Through courage and determination, Alexandra salvages her late father's farmland, and thrives in the face of the challenge, raising three brothers in the process and seeing the youngest succeed in education and move on to a better life.
