MIAMI VICE: RED TAPE (TV)
Summary
One in this series of police dramas concerning Sonny Crockett and Ricardo Tubbs, undercover detectives for the Miami vice squad. In this episode, someone inside the police department is leaking information about where cops plan to make arrests, allowing criminals to set up deadly booby traps for the unsuspecting officers. After Tubbs watches a fellow officer die in one such ambush, he pretends to quit the "unsafe" vice squad and goes undercover as a cop gone bad in order to smoke out the culprit. Meanwhile, the dead officer's partner, Bobby Diaz, sets out to avenge his comrade's death, unaware that Tubbs is already on the case. Commercials deleted.
