Summary
Part one of two. One in this series of police dramas concerning Sonny Crockett and Ricardo Tubbs, undercover detectives for the Miami vice squad. In this installment, Crockett and Tubbs pose as promoters of a sports satellite network in an effort to implicate Guzman, a ruthless gangster who runs a bookmaking operation. To pique Guzman's financial interest, Detective Zito reluctantly lines up Bobby Sykes, an up-and-coming boxer he has taken under his wing, as the star attraction in the sports satellite venture. When Guzman, who enjoys the success he achieves during the boxer's subsequent winning streak, fails to secure the fighter's contract for himself, he has his goons put pressure on Zito.
