Summary
Rosie O'Donnell hosts this documentary on the television series "The Flintstones." During the program Joseph Barbera and William Hanna explain how the series was created and why Fred and Wilma had a baby girl instead of a boy. Highlights of this program including the following clips from the animated series, among others: Barney assists Fred in various endeavors including moving a piano and teaching Dino how to fetch; Fred becomes angry at Barney when he causes them to lose a baking contest; Fred attempts to apologize to Barney; the original opening of the series; the various animal powered inventions of the series; Fred and Barney meet Wilma and Betty for the first time; arguments between the husbands and wives on the series; Wilma and Fred surfing; scenes where the characters of Bedrock wore disguises; Fred finishing his high school degree; Fred learns that Wilma is going to have a baby; Wilma's mother visits Fred and Wilma; Fred attempts to take Wilma to the hospital to have her baby; Fred tries to feed Pebbles; Barney and Betty receive their son; and Bamm Bamm and Pebbles play together. In addition, the following segments are shown: a scene of Fred at work dubbed in a variety of languages; a piece of the screen test of "The Flagstones"; scenes from the live-action movie based on the series; and the B.C. 52's video "Meet the Flintstones." Commercials deleted.
