GENERAL HOSPITAL {LUKE, LAURA, AND LUCKY ON THE
RUN} (TV)
Summary
One in this series of daytime serial dramas centering on
the professional and private lives of the doctors and
nurses at General Hospital. In this episode, Luke and
Laura's truck explodes as a friend of theirs turns the
ignition key. Realizing the explosion was meant for
them, Luke urges Laura to call the house and tell Lucky
about the plans that need to be made. Commissioner
Donely asks Karen to testify against Sonny's illegal
actions concerning his strip club and his attempts to
fix Jagger's boxing match. Lucky gets the message from
Laura and does what he is supposed to. The hitmen
notice there is only one body in the burning truck
and go to the Spencers' house to find them. Instead,
the hitmen play Laura's message and know that the
family is on the run. Sonny confronts Karen and Jagger
and is then arrested by Donely. However, Karen isn't
done talking to Donely. She informs Donely that Ray
Conway, her mother's boyfriend, sexually abused her as a
child. Commercials deleted.
