MR. SHOW WITH BOB AND DAVID: THE STORY OF EVEREST (TV)

Summary

One in this series of sketch comedy programs starring Bob Odenkirk and David Cross. In this episode, Bob and David receive a video call from their new executive producer, "Sweetie Pie" Jonus, a gangster who is running his production company from prison; Larry Kleist, an insurance salesman and paroled rapist, is forced to keep his neighbors and business associates informed of his actions at all times; a waiter spills food on a customer, and the restaurant manager offers to help get rid of the suit; a trio of gangsters bury the suit in the desert and then eat dinner in an "edited for television" movie parody of "Goodfellas"; in a series of rival commercials, Fairsley Grocery Stores attempt to put Gibbons' Markets out of business by insinuating that their competitors have rats and allow customers' children to be sold into slavery; and an excited young man tries to tell his tale of climbing Mt. Everest but keeps knocking over his mother's thimble collection.
