GUN: ALL THE PRESIDENT'S WOMEN (TV)
Summary
One in this anthology series that traces the intricate path of a handgun as it changes hands and alters various lives. The program begins as the president of the Buena Vita Country Club, Texan Parker Tyler, encounters a rattlesnake on the golf course and tries shooting it, but hits his foot instead and dies. One year after his death, the women associated with philanderer Bill Johnson receive deliveries containing parts of Tyler's gun. Johnson's lover, Phyllis, who is also Parker Tyler's daughter, gets the pistol itself; Johnson's lawyer and former lover, Paula Simmons, receives the bullets; and Johnson's wife, Jill, has the clip in which to load the bullets. Later that afternoon, Johnson arrives at Phyllis's apartment for one of their trysts and finds her mother, Frances, there instead. Upset that the club's married president is carrying on with her daughter, Frances threatens him with the gun, but Johnson manages to escape. On the evening of the club's celebration in honor of its new president, Johnson finds himself in quite a dilemma. He receives a note sealed with a kiss, asking him to appear on the seventh tee, the one named in honor of Parker Tyler. Johnson, always ready for a sexual encounter and curious about the identity of the mystery woman, shows up at the appointed hour. He receives a shock in the form of his favorite sex toy, a pair of handcuffs, the complete gun in question, and a memory from his cheating past. Commercials deleted.
