SEX AND THE CITY: VALLEY OF THE TWENTY-SOMETHING GUYS (TV)

Summary

One in this comedy series about Carrie Bradshaw, a single Manhattanite who writes a popular sex-advice column for a newspaper while dishing out dating advice and dirt with her three closest friends. In this episode, Carrie keeps bumping into Mr. Big, and the two of them decide to make their run-ins official with a scheduled drink "date." Charlotte has a new boyfriend who is rich, handsome, and knowledgeable about home furnishings, and she thinks that he might finally be "the one." Carrie gets stood up by Big on their first date and ends up going with Samantha to the opening of a chic new restaurant. There she meets a twenty-something-year-old man, whom she likes almost at once. In the middle of their flirtation, Big puts in an appearance but leaves almost immediately. Meanwhile, Carrie wonders why she is so enamored of this young man -- and spends the whole night kissing him. Charlotte's dream man suddenly becomes an enigma when he asks for a particular sexual favor. Charlotte consequently seeks the advice of her friends, which confuses her even more. Finally, Carrie and Big plan their date, but this time one of his friends joins them. She decides to let them have a guy's night out and heads to the bar to find the young man. The next day Carrie realizes that twenty-something year olds are not everything they seem to be and renounces them forever. Once again she runs into Big, and they make another attempt to get together.
