Summary
One in this gothic daytime serial about the Collins family of Collinsport, Maine. In the wake of a seance gone awry, Victoria Winters has awoken in the year 1795, a time where each of the Collins ancestors resembles a present-day member of the Collins family, though the names and relationships have changed. In this episode, Barnabas promises to protect Vicky from the evil Reverend Trask when the rite of exorcism is performed at the Old House. Vicky admits to Barnabas that she's from a time two hundred years in the future, a notion which troubles him. As Trask begins the exorcism ritual on the Old House's threshold, Angelique casts a spell which causes Vicky's room to catch fire. Barnabas overhears her incantations, along with Vicky's cries for help. When Vicky runs outside, Trask catches her and hauls her into the woods. Angelique tries to make Barnabas doubt Vicky's innocence, but he suspects she's lying -- and wonders whether Vicky or Angelique is the true witch. Commercials deleted.
