Summary
One in this series of Italian daytime dramas. In this episode, a variety of people react to the fact that Arturo has just had a heart attack and has been taken to the hospital by Eva, his business partner. His wife, Letizia, gets the news while attending her son's wedding. She shares her shock with the bride's mother, expressing her surprise both that her husband has been taken ill and that he was with Eva (who happens to be the bride's sister) at the moment of the attack. At the hospital, the doctor tells Letizia that her husband is in stable condition. She turns on Eva, wondering loudly why the younger woman was with Arturo and accusing her of having an affair with him. At this point, a friend and business associate of Eva appears and assures Letizia that they were both present at the moment of the attack. The three discuss possible causes of ArturoÕs condition, and then, at Letizia's insistence, Eva leaves the hospital to go to the wedding reception. Back at the wedding, the happiness of Andrea, the groom, is tempered by concern about his father's condition. As the guests gather at the reception, viewers meet a young man, returning from London, who is enamored of a young friend of the bride. Finally, Eva arrives and is able to reassure Andrea by telling him that his father is out of danger. Commercials deleted.
