SEX AND THE CITY: EASY COME, EASY GO (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series about Carrie Bradshaw, a single Manhattanite who writes a popular sex-advice column for a newspaper while dishing out dating advice and dirt with her three closest friends. In this episode, Carrie questions whether it is smarter to heed one's heart or one's head after Mr. Big, during a chance encounter, reveals to her that he wants out of his marriage. In the meantime, Miranda helps Steve, who is still crashing on the couch, look for an apartment. She offers him extra time on the couch when they realize that the selection is slim but wonders whether she is only trying to hold onto the relationship. During lunch with Trey and his mother Bunny, Charlotte observes that Bunny can manipulate her son's actions just by touching his arm. Samantha finds a serious fault in her new man during their first sexual encounter. Miranda begins to find her living situation uncomfortable when she hears a message from another woman looking for Steve on the answering machine, and Carrie gets a message from Big asking her to call him. Aidan volunteers to re-do her apartment floors, and Carrie cannot help comparing her new man to Big. Using the new trick she learned from Bunny, Charlotte convinces Trey that they should get married but is upset because the proposal proves unromantic. Carrie stays at a hotel because she cannot work through the noise of the remodeling. Big, who has learned that she is staying there for the night, confronts her about renewing their relationship. Torn with longing and indecision, Carrie wonders whether to follow her emotions or her brain. Her emotions win. Samantha finally confronts her new man after trying to fix the problem surreptitiously.
