Summary
One in this long-running daytime serial, set in the midwestern town of Oakdale. In this episode, Craig Montgomery is throwing a Halloween party. Lily breaks up a fight between her husband, Holden, and Simon Frasier; she then confronts her nemesis, Rose. Julia Snyder panics at the thought that Stiles is going to show her husband Jack a photograph that will destroy their marriage. Carly is told to surrender the microchips while Molly warns Jack that Carly is involved in an illegal multimillion-dollar deal. Stiles is about to give Jack the incriminating photograph of Julia when Craig makes Stiles leave the party and confiscates the photograph himself. Emily infuriates Jake by coming to the party dressed as his late wife, Vicky, and she confesses her reasons for choosing the costume. Simon Frasier takes a drunk Katie Perretti outside for some fresh air, and the two decide to leave together. Jack attempts to intercept the stolen microchips when Carly hands them off, but the contraband isn't where Carly or Jack thought it was. At home, Holden tries to explain to Lily what happened at the party. Meanwhile, Craig confronts Carly about the work she has been doing for him and his test of her trustworthiness. An immigration agent confronts Simon and Katie; he is looking for Simon, who is a foreign national. Julia tells Jack that she feels ill and wants to go home. When he asks her what is wrong, she reveals an unwelcome secret. Jake and Molly get ready to leave, but when Molly walks outside she sees someone she never expected.
