Summary
The premiere of this comedy series about Mary Richards, a single career woman working in a television newsroom. In this episode, Mary moves to Minneapolis, finds an apartment through her landlady, Phyllis Lindstrom, and meets her neighbor, Rhoda Morgenstern. Mary starts her career as an associate producer in the newsroom of WJM-TV, and she bids an abrupt farewell to her former boyfriend. Commercials deleted.
