ONCE UPON A MATTRESS {CAROL BURNETT} (TV)
Summary
In this musical comedy special, based on "The Princess and the Pea," Carol Burnett plays an unlikely princess, and Ken Berry is the prince who wants to marry her. A law in the kingdom forbids anyone to get married before the prince does, and his mother, the Queen, tries to prevent him from marrying. She conducts a test to prove that the princess is not in fact a princess and therefore an unsuitable bride for her son. Notable songs include "In a Little While," "The Swamps of Home," "Shy," "I'm in Love with a Girl Named Fred," and "Happily Ever After."
