NBC MONDAY NIGHT AT THE MOVIES: BITTER HARVEST (TV)
Summary
This made-for-television drama is about dairy farmer Ned De Vries' fight to expose the cause of a series of disasters suffered by his livestock and family. The story begins as Ned becomes suspicious when a newborn calf refuses its mother's milk. When Ned discovers rats poisoned by the chemical AF-10, he takes their bodies to the Department of Agriculture demands action. Ned soon discovers that his cattle have been eating feed laced with the poison PPB and that the milk produced by his and other farmers' cows is contaminated and toxic.(Presented under the umbrella of "NBC Monday Night At The Movies.") Commercials deleted.
