Summary
The premiere episode of this comedy series starring Lucille Ball as Lucy Carmichael. In this episode, Lucy's daughter, Chris, goes out on a date with Alan, a boy who drives a car. Lucy is concerned that the young couple will "park" so when they pull up in the driveway, Lucy drags Chris into the house without letting her say goodnight to her date. Lucy is then embarrassed to learn that Alan's parents were in the car with them. The next night, Chris goes on another date with Alan and Lucy promises not to wait up. Complications ensue when Chris comes home before Lucy goes to bed. In order to prevent herself from being seen, Lucy exits the house through the back door and winds up getting locked out. Includes commercials.
