Summary
One in this live dramatic anthology series. In this program an old woman named Lily finds deep satisfaction in helping her neighbors enjoy life. She helps a young widow, who recently moved into an apartment across the hall from her, to get past the sorrow of losing her husband by convincing her to get to know one of their neighbors, Mr. Ingalls. Lily also encourages a teenager in a wheelchair to learn to walk, and helps a sick friend deal with her husband's insensitive behavior. Also, Lily spends much of her time entertaining her friend Cernok and his sister, an ex-opera singer, who often thinks she is still on stage performing in "La Scala." As Lily helps her friends to lead fulfilling lives, she shows signs of being ill, but ignores her doctor's advice to take it easy. Includes commercials.
