SECRET AGENT: STING IN THE TAIL (TV)
Summary
One in this series of spy dramas concerning the adventures of John Drake, special security agent for the British government. In this episode, Drake travels to Lebanon with the mission of luring Rachid Noureddine, a vicious political assassin, back to Paris. By posing as a penniless painter, Drake endears himself to Rachid's girlfriend, torchsinger Marie Veladon, and persuades her to sit for a portrait. As expected, Drake's charming overtures raise the ire of the jealous Rachid, who sends his thugs after Drake. With the assistance of his field operative, Drake leaves the impression that he and Marie have fled to Paris and hopes that Rachid will follow them there -- and into the waiting hands of the police. Commercials deleted. (This series is an expanded version of "Danger Man," which ran on CBS in 1961.)
