Summary
One in this series of dramas about the adventures of two young men who travel across the country in a Corvette. In this episode, Tod is one of two men suspected of bringing a rare disease into a small town. Tod gets a job in a small town after defending a drifter, Emmett, who is being harassed by a bunch of young people. Tod and Emmett seem to be getting along well until two children become infected with a rare sleeping sickness. The townspeople assume that one of the outsiders brought the disease into their community. Emmett tests positive for the disease and he is falsely accused of being the carrier. A few of the townsfolk decide to take responsibility for punishing Emmett. Meanwhile, Luke takes to the road as a travelling salesman. Commercials deleted.
