Salem, the supernatural thriller inspired by the real-life events during the Salem witch trials, has inspired an intense fan following over the course of its two seasons. As Fangoria noted, “Salem offers top notch gore gags, phenomenal performances, and ‘Lovecraftian' insanity that’s worth the watch alone.” The series’s highly anticipated third season dawns with the triumph of the witches’ plan to remake the New World by bringing the devil to earth and making Salem his capital. The plan, however, encounters a serious hitch when the witches discover the devil is bent on destroying all humanity.
