At a time when technological change and economic pressures are disrupting the commercial news industry and the market for quality investigative journalism, the Center for Public Integrity is thriving as an independent, nonprofit news organization dedicated to ensuring that public and private institutions operate in the public interest. On Thursday, November 10, 2011, the Center for Public Integrity and the Paley Center for Media, the premier independent forum for the media industry, will present a half-day program on innovative approaches to funding and producing investigative journalism.
