With over twenty years of experience in the industry, Nick Brien is committed to reinventing the media agency model in his new role as president and CEO of Mediabrands, Interpublic's media holding company. Nick, who served previously as the worldwide CEO of Universal McCann, currently has overall management responsibility for Mediabrands' independent media agencies and is charged with imagining new approaches for delivering clients the greatest possible business impact through media and marketing excellence. While at Universal McCann, Nick helped the company bring home the Cannes Grand Prix in 2006, and UM Sydney was named the 2006 Cannes Agency of the Year. He also held senior positions at Publicis Groupe's Arc, Leo Burnett, and Starcom, and was named Advertising Age Media Maven in 2008.
