Winner of the Golden Globe and Critics’ Choice awards for Best Comedy Series and Best Actress in a Comedy, the series, set in 1958, proves that funny is timeless. Created by Amy Sherman-Palladino and executive produced by Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino, the comedy stars Rachel Brosnahan as Upper West Side housewife turned Greenwich Village stand-up comic Midge Maisel. The show has been praised for its strong cast, sharp writing, cinematography, music choices, and pitch perfect period costume and production design.
