FORD THEATRE: THE MING LAMA (TV)

Summary

One in this dramatic anthology series. In this drama, pilot John Stevens, better known as daredevil Johnny Nighthawk, accepts a risky job when he agrees to pick up a package in San Francisco for the mysterious Arthur Collins. Collins warns Johnny that a man named Julius Bellamy will attempt to kill him once he has the package. With Stevens Air Transport in trouble with creditors, the pilot decides to gamble his life for a two thousand dollar fee. Once he gets to the Carlton Plaza Hotel in San Francisco, Johnny is visited by a man named George Timkin, who stumbles into his room without the package but with the dying words "Go to Foo Lung." While Johnny tries to figure out the meaning of this admonition and retrieve the package, he is pursued by the nefarious Julius Bellamy and his murderous henchman, Leonard. The pilot is also pursued by blonde beauty Lola Walker, who may be more dangerous than any henchman. Commercials deleted.
