MARY TYLER MOORE SHOW, THE: LOU'S FIRST DATE (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series about Mary Richards, a single career woman working in a television newsroom. In this episode, Lou, whose wife recently left him, accidentally buys two tickets to the "Man of the Year" dinner and discovers that his wife is attending the dinner with someone else. Lou asks Mary to get him a date. Rhoda suggests that she call a recently widowed woman from her dance class, Mrs. Dudley. Mary speaks with Mrs. Dudley, who quickly agrees to the blind date. Unfortunately, Mary discovers that she spoke to the wrong Mrs. Dudley when the eighty-year-old mother-in-law of Rhoda's friend arrives at her apartment to go to dinner with Lou. Commercials deleted.
