Summary
One in this dramatic anthology series. This program is an adaptation of playwright Jeff Stetson's fictional account of a meeting between Malcolm X and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The presentation dramatizes the conflict between these two great leaders and their opposing points of view, and speculates on the events that might have occurred had the two joined forces during the civil rights movement. (This program was awarded an Emmy for Best Technical Direction for a Miniseries or Special, and received the following nominations: International Film and Video Competition - The Best in Black Programming; NAACP Image Award - Best Episode, Best Dramatic Series.)
