HOMICIDE: LIFE ON THE STREET: FITS LIKE A GLOVE (TV)
Summary
One in this series of police dramas about a department of reflective homicide detectives in Baltimore, Maryland. In this episode, Lt. Russert names Pembleton the primary detective in the murder investigation of a young woman whose naked body -- adorned only with white gloves -- was found in a dumpster behind a Catholic church. Russert's attempts to delay the media from releasing vital information is jeopardized, however, when another young Catholic woman is the victim of a similar homicide. Pembleton attempts to develop a profile of the murderer, whom he believes to be Catholic, with the help of Sister Magdalena and an "entrepreneur of the macabre" who collects serial killer memorabilia. Meanwhile, Bayliss' past jeopardizes Munch and Lewis' chance to attain a liquor license for a bar they hope to purchase, and Fenton must decide if he wishes to continue his affair with Russert or return to his wife Beth.
