PICKET FENCES: THE GREEN BAY CHOPPER (TV)
Summary
One in this series of off-beat dramas that often focuses on social issues as it chronicles the lives of Rome, Wisconsin, residents, including town Sheriff Jimmy Brock; his wife Dr. Jill Brock; their three children, Kimberly, Matthew, and Zachary; and his two deputies Kenny Lacos and Maxine Stewart. In this episode, the Rome police force and the FBI form an uneasy alliance as they attempt to apprehend a gruesome serial kidnapper known as the Green Bay Chopper. The mysterious criminal, who severs his victims' right hands before releasing them, has been responsible for multiple mutilations of middle-aged Wisconsin men over the last two years. Although the FBI petitions the court to keep the local deputies from infringing on their federal case, it is Maxine's persistence which may bring law enforcement officials closer to learning the identity of the grisly criminal. Meanwhile, Kimberly feels she is being afforded no privacy when Jimmy and Jill attempt to find out if she is sexually active. Commercials deleted.
