One in this series of interview programs hosted by Larry King. In this edition, Larry interviews New York Governor Mario Cuomo, who discusses the following topics, among others: the power of television; the vulnerability of being a governor; whether or not he would run for President; why Lee Iacocca would make a good presidential candidate; the similarities between Christianity and political service; the essence of morality; the problems with President Ronald Reagan's tax reform proposal; the economics of New York and the United States as a whole; the treatment of the middle class; and his concept of tax reform. Then, Cuomo takes calls from viewers, which leads him to discuss the following subjects: how his concepts differ from those of the New Deal; space weapons; the need for states to help each other out; corporate taxes; bank failures; the way in which he offended the National Rifle Association; tax deductions; the death penalty; the future of American cities; and how the middle class will be affected by President Reagan's tax plan. Also includes footage of Governor Cuomo's speech at the Democratic Convention on July 16th, 1984. Commercials deleted.
