CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM: BELOVED AUNT (TV)
Summary
One in this series in which producer/comedian Larry David plays a slightly exaggerated version of himself who often ends up embroiled in misunderstandings and social faux pas. In this episode, Cheryl's aunt Louise dies, spurring a chain of events that gets Larry in hotter and hotter water. First, Larry pays for a hotel room for Cheryl's sister Becky and her boyfriend Craig, and then advises an unhappy Craig that -- regardless of the current situation -- it is acceptable for him to break up with Becky immediately. Next, Larry volunteers to write Louise's obituary and a typo on the word "aunt" causes Larry to offend Cheryl's entire family and get him kicked out of the house. Now forced to spend the night in Jeff's guest room, he accidentally gropes Jeff's mother and is likewise kicked out of the Greene household. With nowhere to go but a hotel, Larry finds Craig occupying the one room he wants.
