SEX AND THE CITY: AN AMERICAN GIRL IN PARIS, PART DEUX {PART 2 OF 2} {SERIES FINALE} (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series about Carrie Bradshaw, a single Manhattanite who writes a popular sex-advice column for a newspaper, while dishing out dating advice and dirt with her three closest friends. In this episode, part two of a two-part series finale, Alexander keeps leaving Carrie alone in Paris, and she starts wondering why she is there. They are scheduled to have lunch with Alexander's former wife, Juliet, but he cancels at the last minute. Later, Carrie has a book party organized by her Parisian fans, but Alexander has a "very important" meeting at the museum and asks Carrie to go with him and cancel her party. She agrees to his request, but later realizes her mistake. By the time Carrie gets to her own party, everyone has left. Back at the hotel, she considers her options in a new light, especially after running into Mr. Big in the lobby. Meanwhile, Miranda finds out that her mother-in-law has had a stroke and will need constant care, presumably in a home with Miranda and Steve. Samantha's young boyfriend Smith is away on a movie shoot in Canada, but promises to be faithful, though Samantha -- still trying to cope with her breast cancer -- has her doubts. Charlotte and Harry get news from China about their adoption request. As complications ensue on all fronts, the four friends make life-altering choices as their story concludes.
