Summary

The third in this series of live jazz specials presented by Timex. Highlights include "I Love Jazz" with the Louis Armstrong Sextet, vocals by Armstrong; "How High the Moon" with Lionel Hampton and Gene Krupa; "Let Me Off Uptown" with Krupa, Les Brown and his Band of Renown, and scat vocals by Hampton and Anita O'Day; a New Orleans tribute with Hoagy Carmichael and Bob Crosby and his Bobcats; and Jane Morgan singing with the Chico Hamilton Quintet. Krupa drums on Bob Haggart's bass, O'Day scats with Brown's band in "Four Brothers" and Armstrong and the Bobcats play "South Rampart Street Parade." A final medley features many of these performers.
