MAMA {I REMEMBER MAMA}: THE NIGHT THE ANIMALS TALKED (TV)

Summary

One in this series of sentimental comedies about a Norwegian-American family in World War I era San Francisco. This annual "Mama" Christmas show retells a Norwegian folk tale. According to Mama's great-grandmother Hedvig, midnight on Christmas Eve is a magical time when barnyard animals gain the power of speech. Despite ridicule from the family, old Hedvig trudges through the snow to the barn to talk to the animals. Commercials deleted.
