Summary
Continued from T:21519. Part two of two. One in this drama series set during the Vietnam War, which focuses on the lives of the women stationed at China Beach, a combined U.S. Armed Forces hospital and USO recreational facility located near the South China Sea. In part two of this two-part episode, McMurphy prepares to return to Vietnam after her father's funeral, but decides at the last minute to take some time to reflect on the direction of her life. She goes to San Francisco to visit her friend and nursing mentor, Jan (guest star Kathy Bates), who now works with disabled veterans. McMurphy spends an inspiring night with Jan, her roommates, and several veterans, and ultimately reaches a decision about returning to Vietnam. Commercials deleted.
