Summary

One in this military talent show hosted by Arlene Francis. Talents displayed includes: Private Neil Hutten tap-dancing to "Me and My Shadow" and humorously demonstrating how girls walk in different parts of the country; The Fort Dix Soldier's Chorus performing "If You Were the Only Girl in the World"; PFC Donald Dollarhide and Cpl. Joseph Henderson offering a twin piano performance of "Slaughter on Tenth Avenue" as well as an "In the Mood" followup; Private Richard Hayes singing "Three Coins in the Fountain"; the 69th Infantry Division Band performing "Fascinating Rhythm"; PFC Gary Strong performing an array of basketball spinning and juggling feats as well as some tricks with a lasso culminating in a Will Rogers-esque finale; PFC Ernestine Williams singing "I've Got a Crush on You"; The Fort Dix Soldier's Chorus returning to perform "Clap Your Hands"; Private Newl S. Kimball performing "Cool Water"; and Hayes returning to sing "As Time Goes By." Also, the program includes another "Army Field Report," this one highlighting work at Maryland's Aberdeen Proving Ground; the 69th Infantry presenting Francis with an honor for "unselfish devotion to our country's soldiers"; Private Bill Godfrey discussiing what he's learned in his first forty-nine days of basic training; and a report on the Women's Army Corps.
