Summary
An unaired pilot for this dramatic series, a spin-off of "Party of Five," in which Jennifer Love Hewitt's character Sarah moves to New York City in search of her past and her future. In this episode, Sarah arrives in New York hoping to learn her father's identity, but her search turns into a wild goose chase, sending her to old apartments, boxing gyms, ballet studios, acting classes, and a rave. Along the way she meets a seemingly helpful stranger J. B. who steals her pocketbook, an inaccurate fortune teller Daisy, and a stockbroker/deli worker John. The episode culminates with a confrontation in a Lincoln Center men's bathroom. No end credits. (This pilot contains numerous cast members who do not appear in the series as it aired; most notably, main character Vincent Angell is replaced by Johnathon Schaech for the series.)
