This program is aired as a New Year’s Eve celebration and features singer Frank Sinatra and comedian Ruth Buzzi as guests. Highlights include: Martin and Sinatra performing a medley including “Just Around the Corner,” “My Kinda Girl,” “But Beautiful,” “L-O-V-E,” “I Get a Kick Out of You,” “Goody, Goody,” and “Guys and Dolls”; a sketch featuring Sinatra, Martin, and Buzzi at a New Year’s party at Sinatra’s house; Martin and Sinatra singing a number accompanied by singing troupe the Dingaling Sisters; a sketch featuring Buzzi as an aristocrat; Martin appearing alongside surprise guest Jimmy Durante; Martin singing “Young at Heart”; a sketch featuring Sinatra and Martin getting accidentally matched up with each other by a computer dating service; Sinatra performing “Something”; Martin and Sinatra in another sketch, also featuring Buzzi; a sketch featuring Martin, Sinatra, Buzzi, and the Golddiggers in a parody of a 1930’s radio show; and Martin and Sinatra performing “Welcome to My World,” “So Long, It’s Been Good to Know You,” and “Auld Lang Syne” with the Golddiggers.
