WHO'S THE BOSS?: IT HAPPENED ONE SUMMER {PART 2 OF 2} (TV)
Summary
One in this series of comedies about advertising executive Angela Bower and her live-in housekeeper -- former pro-baseball player Tony Micelli -- and their respective families. Angela continues to be uneasy around Tony at the motel, but Tony tries to reassure her that their childhood kiss has no bearing on their current relationship. They are forced to don towels and bedsheets while their clothes dry. They try to turn on the television as a distraction, but it’s tuned to a pornography channel, which makes them uncomfortable. Back at camp, Mona, Samantha, and the other boys plan to play a prank on Wormser, and try to enlist Jonathan’s aid. The motel manager gives Angela and Tony some pajamas to change into. They start to go to sleep, but can’t stop thinking about their childhood kiss. Angela becomes especially distressed when she learns that Tony was only eleven years old at the time, and that he only kissed her to win a bet with his friend. Angela becomes enraged that Tony has seemingly ruined the memory of the encounter and goes back to bed, refusing to speak to him. In the middle of the night the ceiling caves in on Angela’s bed, soaking it with rainwater. Meanwhile, Jonathan returns to his cabin with the other boys after having helped them place frogs in Wormser’s bed. The other boys approve of this and prove to be more welcoming to Jonathan. Tony offers Angela his bed, but proves to be unable to sleep in a nearby chair. When Tony falls on the floor Angela rushes to help him. She apologizes for overreacting about the kissing incident, and Tony admits that despite everything it is just as special to him as it is to her. He admits that while it began as just a bet, it became something more to him. Angela allows Tony to sleep in the same bed as her, as both of them realize that their relationship is fine the way it is. The next morning, Tony and Angela return to the camp and reunite with Mona and Samantha. Tony tells them the he kissed “Ingrid,” preserving Angela’s secret. Jonathan decides he wants to stay at camp after having made friends with the other boys. Commercials deleted.
