Highlights include: recollections of the 2007 film version of “I Am Legend” starring Will Smith; the careers of tennis stars Venus and Serena Williams; the song “Hot in Here” by Nelly; the sitcom “Girlfriends”; the rise to fame and sudden disappearance of comedian Dave Chappelle; Usher’s hit song “Yeah!”; Tyra Banks’s modeling career and various television endeavors; the film “Undercover Brother”; Beyoncé Knowles’s solo music career; the baseball career of Barry Bonds and his alleged steroid use; the film “Ray,” featuring Jamie Foxx portraying Ray Charles; Mariah Carey and her career’s decline and resurgence; the film “Barbershop”; Kanye West’s music career and the controversy surrounding him; and the election of Barack Obama as the first African-American president of the United States.
