Summary
One in this series about counterspy David Harding who, with the help of his colleagues, battles the enemies of the United States at home and abroad. In this episode, Harding has just learned that an anti-American agent has booked passage to the United States. Meanwhile, an American drinks too much in Mexico and passes out in the home of a barmaid, who hands over his car keys to an operative. The operative uses the drunken man's car to meet with an anti-American agent, who hides secret microfilm in the automobile. The keys are returned to the sleeping man, who awakens and drives his car across the border into the U.S. The anti-American agents plan to steal the car in order to retrieve the film -- but they are unaware that the drunken man is none other than Peters, Harding's assistant, who was only pretending to be drunk. The anti-American operatives will soon learn that the counterspies of the United States are sure to foil their plans. As the program concludes, counterspy David Harding reads a letter from J. Edgar Hoover, explaining how a citizen should react if anyone commits subversive activities. Includes promos.
