LEAVE IT TO BEAVER: BEAVER GETS ADOPTED (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series about the Cleaver family -- Ward and June and their two sons, Wally and Theodore, known as the Beaver. In this episode, while on a field trip, Wally wins a trophy while Beaver comes home with none. Mr. and Mrs. Cleaver think Beaver is upset about not winning, so when he and his friend Larry accidently break the trophy, Beaver is sure his family will think he did it on purpose. Though Beaver and Larry attempt to fix the prize, Wally easily discovers the truth, and Beaver is scolded by his parents. Thinking that they are being too hard on him, Beaver makes it clear he wishes he had different parents, and Mr. Cleaver hints that perhaps Beaver should try to get a new set. Beaver takes his father's suggestion seriously and visits an adoption agency in town. Commercials deleted.
